Our obsession with grass will eventually lead to the American west becoming an even more barren non life supporting desert. Our lawns and golf courses are literally sucking the lakes, rivers and aquifers of the west dry. There should honestly be no reason to water your lawn. If the natural environment cannot support it then it should be replaced with indigenous plants. People shouldn’t be using Kentucky bluegrass unless they are in Kentucky.
