On February 5th, it got 120 hits.
Yesterday, it set a new record with 300 hits.
What do Feb. 5th and Feb. 16th have in common? Why did they bring so many people to The Green Miles?
In this post I compared my love-hate relationship with Metro to Eminem's relationship with his on-again off-again (and apparently Amazonian) ex-wife, and linked to a picture of her. Now when she's in the news, people go looking for her picture, and end up here. Isn't the Internet grand?
I thought the visitors would be mostly teenage boys, but maybe I was wrong. Read this page, imagine what you think the author looks like, then scroll down to the bottom to see the author's picture.
Anyway, I'll have more on Metro tomorrow, with details of my adventure involving a Metro bus, an Irish coffee, and a man with a handful of blades.
Freaky!
ReplyDelete...from that url, "about the author"
I am a French teacher and freelance music journalist who also happens to be a huge Eminem fan.
The reason why I decided to write this book is because many people judge Eminem without even knowing him nor the context in which he grew up. I'd like people to discover the talented artist and to look at Marshall Mathers' real side.
I have always been interested in black music and black culture. Hip hop is my favorite genre. Eminem is,of course my favorite rapper and I'm deeply convinced that he's a lyrical genius. His great ability to rhyme and to play with words make him unique in the world of hip hop.
I'd like to welcome anybody who's interested in Eminem on my website.Feel free to ask questions.
