It's called LocalCooling, and here's what it offers: "Download the 100% Free LocalCooling Application and it automatically optimizes your PC's power consumption by using a more effective power save mode." All you people who know a lot more about computers than I do -- does it seem worthwhile? TreeHugger.com is not impressed.

- GreenSpace is the Arlington County Dept. of Libraries' environmental information site. Lots of interesting links to other green sites.

- IdealBite.com: On much the same theme as the ACE Green Living Challenge, IdealBite says, "Small changes, done by many, create big results." (Thanks to my friend Myra for the link!)
