Miles - The Kyoto protocol is a waste of effort. The Kyoto protocol demands much of the United States and very little of developing countries. The Kyoto protocol would not cut carbon emissions; it would savage our economy and allow others to produce carbon emissions.
The Kyoto protocol would just make the people in this country poorer. If you hate the USA, I suppose that is a good thing. Otherwise, what is the point?
The easy way to cut carbon emissions is to reduce income taxes and replace those loss revenues with taxes on fossil fuels. Instead of blaming Bush, why don't you advocate a carbon tax? Instead of attacking Bush, why don't you advocate something that furthers your goal?
