Went to the Verizon Center for the Wizards-Sonics game on Sunday and spotted this - a recycling bin! I gladly recycled my plastic bottle.As excited as I was to see it, the bin looked a bit lonely. Not only was it the only recycling bin I saw in the Verizon Center all day, it didn't have a trash bin next to it. Seems like that would increase the chances of people just shoving garbage in.
Unfortunately, I can't find much more information about green initiatives at the Verizon Center, the website facts focus on events and luxury features.
