A broken pipe caused sewage to leak into Four Mile Run Stream near Bluemont Junction, affecting waters all the way to the Potomac. All residents are advised not to fish in or have any contact with the waters – including wading or swimming – until further notice.

Judging from what I could smell in last night during my run through Bluemont Park, I'm pretty sure this leak started yesterday. That's disturbing as there were two people fishing at Four Mile Run and Wilson Blvd and another walking up the stream bed just upstream from Wilson. Thanks for trying to get this news out - people do actually use Four Mile Run! That said, no dips into the stream for me tonight!
